Why Organic?

Why organic products? Here at Fuyogi, we understand that not everyone likes to consume organic products. We would like to share information to allow people to understand organic products better.

So let's start with organic foods. What exactly are they? According to Wikipedia,
"Organic foods are made according to certain production standards, meaning they are grown without the use of conventional pesticides and artificial fertilizers, free from contamination by human or industrial waste, and processed without ionizing radiation or food additives. If livestock are involved, they must be reared without the routine use of antibiotics and without the use of growth hormones, and generally fed a healthy diet. [...]Organic food production is a heavily regulated industry, distinct from private gardening. Currently, the European Union, the United States, Canada, Japan and many other countries require producers to obtain special certification in order to market food as organic within their borders."

At Fuyogi Organic Hut, all our products are vegetarian, organic and/or natural. This means that our products do not contain any artificial flavourings, artificial colourings or any chemicals. All our products are also Halal, hence our Muslim friends can also enjoy them. :) We have products that are organic and we also have products that are natural. Products that are organic will have a certificate such as the picture below:

USDA Certified Organic

When you see this sign on any of our products, you can be assured that our products do not contain any chemicals or artificial flavourings or colourings. The ingredients used for the making of our organic products are almost 100% organic and are certified as such.

However, despite all the assurance, why would one still want to turn Organic? We understand that there are many people who still have their doubts about organic products. Thus, we've done some research to debunk the myths and cynicism towards organic items.

Thanks to Organic.org, we have found information that we would like to share with you, dear customer, on 'Organic Myths':

Myth #1: Organic food is too expensive.
Fact: In general, organic food costs more than conventional food because of the laborious and time-intensive systems used by the typically smaller organic farms. You may find that the benefit of organic agriculture off-set this additional cost.

Myth #2: Eating organic food is the same as eating natural food.
Fact: Natural foods do not contain additives or preservatives, but they may contain ingredients that have been grown with pesticides or are genetically modified.

Myth #3: Organic food tastes like cardboard.
Fact:
This may have been true of processed foods at one time—take crackers or pretzels for example—but this stereotype is as outdated as the hippie connotations that follow it. Today many organic snack foods taste the same as their conventional counterparts, while most people agree that fresh, locally grown organic produce does not compare to the alternative.

Here at Fuyogi Hut, we have a range of products that are both organic and natural to cater to different preferences. We have products such as enzymes juices to fruit vinegar to organic rice chips. We try our best to provide for everyone's needs. We hope that the little information we've given above can help you to understand organic products better. We would like to thank Organic.org and Wikipedia for the information and we look forward to bring more detailed information for you in future.
